Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach seeks an Experienced RN for the Cardiac Step Down unit. You will monitor telemetry, assist with open heart procedures, and manage vasoactive medications to support patient recovery.

The role requires current Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of two years in the cardiac/step-down area. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care 24/7.

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License, BLS, and ACLS required.
• Level III: minimum 2 years in the cardiac/step-down specialty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain annual clinical competence in telemetry, open heart surgery, and vasoactive meds.
• Assess diagnostic data and monitor hemodynamic status; intervene as needed.
• Assist with cardioversion and management of cardiac arrhythmias.
• Provide patient/family teaching for open heart procedures and telemetry.
• Document patient responses and progress each shift.
