Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore seeks a dedicated technician in Chesapeake, VA for full-time restoration work. You will handle water, mold, and fire remediation, load equipment, follow safety procedures, and liaise with the project manager to ensure quality service.

The role requires 1–3 years in restoration or related field, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work on-call shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-3 yrs experience in restoration industry preferred.
• Useful industry certifications.
• Active driver's license with clean record (no DUI/DWI/reckless driving in last 3–5 years).
• No felonies.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders/assignments, load equipment and supplies, and arrive at the work site.
• Perform water/mold/fire remediation per company procedures.
• Set up remediation equipment on site per plans.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Notify project manager of customer or project issues.
• Maintain time sheet records.
• Conduct work assignments in quality and safety.
• Maintain PPE and personal safety.

As a technician with ServiceMaster Restore®, you will learn a wide variety of transferrable skills related to maintenance, construction, leadership, and customer service. Specific job responsibilities include:

• Retrieves work orders/assignments, checks route for travel, ensures appropriate equipment and supplies needed for a job are loaded on truck needed for job, and arrives at the work site
• Performs water/mold/fire remediation as directed according to company procedures including but not limited to extraction, debris removal/disposition, demolition and cleaning
• Sets up remediation equipment on site per plans
• Reports equipment malfunctions
• Notifies project manager of customer or project issues as they arise
• Maintains time sheet records
• Conducts work assignment in quality manner
• Maintains personal safety with PPE provided
