Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is hiring a skilled Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration for residential and commercial properties. You will work under pressure, focusing on craftsmanship and customer care during loss events.

Responsibilities include water extraction, drying, fire and smoke mitigation, operating equipment, and documenting progress. Candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs, have a valid driver's license, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, or skilled trades preferred.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup is a plus.
• IICRC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment.
• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents.
• Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services

• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members

• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls
