ServiceMaster Restore is currently expanding our team by adding additional Restoration Technicians! The Technician will report directly to the Project Managers. There is tremendous room for growth within our organization for the right individual.

We provide on-the-job training for those without previous experience. We are looking for a hard working individual with good customer service skills and team minded. The Technician will be responsible to perform water and fire clean-up work in residential and commercial properties, demolition, restorative drying, packing out of customer belongings and general cleaning.

The Restoration Technician understands that ServiceMaster Restore is a 24/7 disaster based business and even when not “On-Call” may be asked to work after hours and on weekends/holidays. Pay is dependent on previous experience and certifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed by supervisor to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction and demolition
• Sets up and monitors air mover and/or dehumidifier equipment
• May perform other cleaning duties (i.e., construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, etc.) when part of mitigation or restoration jobs
• Completes assigned job tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job

Job Requirements

• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
• Ability to get a Class E driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must pass drug screening and background check. Must be bondable with no criminal convictions

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
• Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
• For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
• Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
