Job summary

Yellowstone Local, representing Tex AC & Heating, is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician based in Richardson, Texas, to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair residential heating and cooling systems on service calls throughout the DFW area.

You will work independently with homeowners, communicate findings clearly, complete repairs to manufacturer specifications, and maintain your vehicle and tools while participating in rotating Saturday on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct residential HVAC service experience (2–3 years preferred).
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in rotating Saturday on-call schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and safely perform work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Work as an HVAC Service Technician based in Richardson, Texas, serving homeowners throughout the DFW area.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems independently.
• Handle residential HVAC service calls with accuracy and professionalism.
• Explain findings and repair recommendations to homeowners.
• Complete HVAC repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Keep company vehicle, tools and work area clean and organized.
• Participate in the rotating Saturday on call schedule.
