Job summary

Tex-AC & Heating is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems for homeowners in Richardson, TX and the DFW area. The role requires at least 1 year of direct residential HVAC service experience and EPA Certification, with a valid driver’s license.

You will work on-call on Saturdays on a rotating basis, maintain a professional appearance and vehicle, and provide clear recommendations to homeowners.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of direct residential HVAC service experience; 2–3 years preferred.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work at heights.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in the rotating Saturday on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Complete residential service calls professionally and accurately.
• Explain findings and repair recommendations to homeowners.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, tools, and work area.
• Participate in rotating Saturday on-call schedule.
