Job summary

MedStar Health seeks Registered Nurses for the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland. Roles include 12‑hour shifts (days or nights) on a 48‑bed unit with all private rooms and telemetry beds.

You will care for stroke, seizure, brain mass, neurosurgical and demyelinating conditions, with care extending to the broader medical‑surgical population. Required RN licensure (MD or compact), BLS, and ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL education; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (MD RN or compact state RN).
• BSN preferred? Not explicitly required beyond licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required (AHA or Red Cross).

About the Job

Full Time positions for both new graduate and experienced nurses on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Unit Highlights

• Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit
• 48-Bed all private roomsincluding20 telemetry beds
• Types of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseases
• Types of med- surgpatientsfocus is respiratory but service the general med-surg population
• Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of
