Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking Clinical Nurse professionals for full-time and part-time night shifts at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The role emphasizes cardiac care and ACLS proficiency, with training support provided to attain ACLS proficiency.

You will care for patients across a spectrum of needs, from routine to complex, developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Active MD RN license or Compact State RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers current.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care across a spectrum of needs, from routine to complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans with the nursing team.

Unit Highlights

Accommodates 48 beds

Operates 12-hour straight shifts

Emphasis on cardiac care, contributing to the new cardiac program at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center

Assistance provided to attain proficiency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
