Job summary

MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Stroke Telemetry Unit. You will provide skilled, compassionate care across a spectrum of needs, from routine to highly complex, and develop care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.

Shifts are 12 hours with day or night options, every third weekend, and holiday requirements. Telemetry monitoring is provided on mostly private rooms, with a dedicated patient-focused team and comprehensive nursing benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Coordinate interventions with other members of the nursing team.

Unit Highlights

MedStar Harbor Hospitalis seeking experienced RNs to fill roles in our Stroke Telemetry Unit.

Unit Highlights:

24 beds

• 4:1 Patient to nurse ratio on day shift / 5:1 Patient to nurse ratio on night shift
• Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and Holiday requirements
• Mostly private rooms with telemetry monitoring for all beds.
• Experienced customer service and patient-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

This position has a hiring range of
