Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is hiring full-time registered nurses for the Neuro Telemetry unit. This role supports both new graduates and experienced nurses and offers three 12-hour shifts with a 3rd weekend rotation.

You will provide skilled, compassionate care across neurology and med-surgical patients, including stroke, seizures, brain tumors, and post-surgical neuro conditions, with a focus on respiratory care as part of the team.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL required.
• Active MD RN license or compact state RN and BLS required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated with other nursing team members.

About the Job

This RN position is for Full Time positions for both new graduate and experienced nurses on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Unit Highlights

• Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit
• 48-Bed all private roomsincluding20 telemetry beds
• Types of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseases
• Types of med-surgpatientsfocus is respiratory but service the general med-surg population
• Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs - from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
