Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Neuro-Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore. The position offers straight day or night shifts with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications include ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited program, active RN license, and BLS. The unit handles stroke, seizures, brain mass, neurosurgery, and demyelinating diseases, with a mix of telemetry and med-surg patients.

Qualifications

• Active MD RN license or equivalent.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to coordinate interventions.

Unit Highlights

This RN position is for Full Time positions for both new graduate and experienced nurses on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit

48-Bed all private rooms including 20 telemetry beds

Types of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseases

Types of med- surg patients focus is respiratory but service the general med-surg population

Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
