Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an RN for the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland. This full-time position is open to new graduates and experienced nurses on a Neurological-Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit with 48 beds and private rooms.

Shifts are 12 hours, with every 3rd weekend, offering straight schedule options. The role involves assessing patients, planning care, and collaborating with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans.
• Coordinate interventions with other nursing team members.

This RN position is for Full Time positions for both new graduate and experienced nurses on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Unit Highlights

Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit48-Bed all private roomsincluding20 telemetry bedsTypes of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseasesTypes of med- surgpatientsfocus is respiratory but service the general med-surg populationStraight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
