Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time/part-time night shifts to deliver skilled care across a spectrum of patient needs. You will assess evolving conditions, plan care, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Eligible candidates have an ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and an active RN license; BLS is required, ACLS training is supported by MedStar Health. Night shifts include competitive benefits and relocation options where applicable.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Active MD RN License or active compact state RN license and BLS required.
• ACLS proficiency/training assistance provided by the employer.

Unit Highlights

Accommodates 48 bedsOperates 12-hour straight shiftsEmphasis on cardiac care, contributing to the new cardiac program at MedStar Franklin Square Medical CenterAssistance provided to attain proficiency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
