Job summary

New Holland Brewing Company in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an experienced server to provide friendly, high-quality service in our brew pub. You will lead guests through the seven steps of service, welcome guests, and make informed beer and menu recommendations while maintaining a clean station.

Applicants should have 2+ years of high-volume serving experience with alcohol, be available on weekends, and able to work days and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years serving in a high-volume environment with alcohol.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Cicerone and ServeSafe certified, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values.
• Warmly welcome guests and engage them in conversation.
• Follow the seven steps of service and check IDs for age verification.
• Describe beer, wine and spirits and make recommendations to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness at the server station and perform opening/closing side work.
