Job summary

New Holland Brewing Company in Battle Creek, MI is seeking EXPERIENCED Bartenders for our Brewpub downtown. Part-time, $10.33/hour plus tips. Join a collaborative team delivering seasonal cocktails and pouring craft beers and spirits.

Responsibilities include crafting drinks, maintaining bar stock, ensuring cleanliness, and complying with alcohol service laws. Prioritize guest engagement and a welcoming environment while handling multiple tasks and shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Cicerone, Barsmarts and ServeSafe certifications, or ability to complete within 90 days of employment.

• Maintain attractive, functional bottles and glassware for efficient service and promotion of beverages.
• Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness across bar areas.
• Describe all New Holland products and menu items using internal resources.
• Follow all laws and best practices of alcohol service.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

BARTENDER

We are looking for EXPERIENCED Bartenders at our beautiful Brewpub in downtown Battle Creek! Create savored moments for guests and team members alike. Be a part of bringing delicious seasonal cocktails to life and educating (and pouring!) our craft beers and spirits for our guests. Great team! Great money! Great perks!

This is a part time position paying $10.33/hour plus tips.

Job summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create exceptional experiences by utilizing New Holland best practices, ultimately resulting in savored moment for our guests.

What you would do

• Lead and act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values.
• Provide a welcoming and inviting environment for all guests by employing authentic engagement and prompt service.
• Prepare & serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the company’s standard drink recipes.
• Set the bar up for success by preparing fresh juice, crushing ice for cocktails, and cutting fresh fruit for garnish and juicing.
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests, including Fairbanks Society members and NH investors.
• Ensure that the bar area is fully stocked with bar products (beer, spirits, wine, etc…), clean glassware, garnishes, infusions, to-go beverage containers, and any other frequently used items.
• Maintain bottles & glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation & promotion of beverages.
• Maintain a high standard of sanitization and cleanliness in any areas serviced by the bar.
• Be able to accurately describe all New Holland products and menu items by utilizing all internal educational resources.
• Follow all application laws and best practices of alcohol service.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
