Job summary

New Holland Brewing Company in Battle Creek, MI is seeking EXPERIENCED Bartenders for our downtown Brewpub. You will provide friendly service, craft seasonal cocktails and educate guests about our beers and spirits in a lively, welcoming setting.

You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, keep the bar stocked and clean, and engage with guests including NH investors and Fairbanks Society members. This role is part-time with opportunities for tips and growth.

Qualifications

BARTENDER

We are looking for EXPERIENCED Bartenders at our beautiful Brewpub in downtown Battle Creek! Create savored moments for guests and team members alike. Be a part of bringing delicious seasonal cocktails to life and educating (and pouring!) our craft beers and spirits for our guests. Great team! Great money! Great perks!

Job summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create exceptional experiences by utilizing New Holland best practices, ultimately resulting in savored moment for our guests.

What you would do

• Lead and act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values.
• Provide a welcoming and inviting environment for all guests by employing authentic engagement and prompt service.
• Prepare & serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the company’s standard drink recipes.
• Set the bar up for success by preparing fresh juice, crushing ice for cocktails, and cutting fresh fruit for garnish and juicing.
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests, including Fairbanks Society members and NH investors.
• Ensure that the bar area is fully stocked with bar products (beer, spirits, wine, etc…), clean glassware, garnishes, infusions, to-go beverage containers, and any other frequently used items.
• Maintain bottles & glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation & promotion of beverages.
• Maintain a high standard of sanitization and cleanliness in any areas serviced by the bar.
• Be able to accurately describe all New Holland products and menu items by utilizing all internal educational resources.
• Follow all application laws and best practices of alcohol service.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Desired qualifications

• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Cicerone, Barsmarts and ServeSafe certified, or the ability complete certification within 90 days of employment.
