Job summary

Royal American Companies in Memphis seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to preserve and repair a multi‑unit property. Under supervision, you will perform electrical and plumbing work, troubleshoot HVAC systems, and carry out preventive maintenance.

This full-time role requires High School diploma or equivalent, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property maintenance preferred.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC units, fans, thermostats and related components.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections and inventories.
• Participate in standby emergency coverage and on-call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
