Job summary

Grungo Law LLC is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal/Case Manager to own a caseload of personal injury matters from post-intake to resolution or transfer to litigation. You will be the day-to-day manager, working closely with clients, providers, insurers, and supervising attorneys to advance cases efficiently and maximize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal, case manager, or legal assistant in a plaintiff personal injury firm is required.
• NJ PIP experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of the personal injury pre-litigation process, including medical record review, damages evaluation, and demand preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters from post-intake through demand, negotiation, and resolution or transfer to litigation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation process, maintaining consistent, proactive, and professional communication.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s injuries, treatment, and case status to guide cases toward resolution.
• Monitor client treatment progress and follow up regularly to ensure appropriate care and timely records.
• Review and analyze medical bills, PIP matters, and health insurance liens related to claims.
• Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance carriers under attorney supervision and manage insurer communications.
