THERAPY 2000 is seeking an Experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist for a part-time role in Lubbock, TX. You will perform evaluations, design and implement therapy plans, and create home exercise programs tailored to each child.

Collaboration with caregivers and other healthcare professionals is essential to deliver high-quality pediatric care in the home setting. The position emphasizes compassionate service, clinical excellence, and ongoing learning through accessible continuing education

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Specialty Certifications (example: PCS)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs with patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers and disciplines.
• Complete minimum patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress summaries, and logs.
• Adhere to agency policies, regulations, and standards for home-health pediatric PT.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
