THERAPY 2000 is seeking an Experienced Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven team in Lubbock, TX. This home-based pediatric OT role emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care, delivering therapy in children’s most comfortable environments.

The candidate should hold an active Texas OT license, bring pediatric experience, and demonstrate reliability and flexibility to adapt to business needs.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license required.
• 3+ years as a pediatric OT.
• Experience in a home-health setting preferred.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs with patient caregivers.
• Collaborate with care providers to coordinate care across disciplines; complete minimum patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress summaries, and logs as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Comply with agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
