THERAPY 2000 is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for part-time, home-based pediatric therapy in the Lubbock area. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans designed to support children in a home setting.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of pediatric OT experience, Texas licensure, and a background in home-health or related clinical areas such as feeding therapy. Flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregiver involvement.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and related paperwork.
• Conform to agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulations for home-health pediatric OT.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.

• 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
