Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center is seeking an Experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for our facility. The PT will assess referred patients, develop and manage rehabilitation programs, document patient progress, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PT program, active license, and experience supervising assistants; familiarity with HIPAA and PPS scheduling is a plus. Competitive wages offered.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Proficient in documentation writing and record-keeping.
• Compliance with HIPAA and Residents Rights.
• Experience with Case Mix Index and PPS scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity.
• Record patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
