Patient's Choice Lab is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to perform blood draws and ensure accurate specimen handling in a patient-centered environment in Scottsdale, AZ.

You will register patients, verify ID, label specimens correctly, and follow HIPAA guidelines while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role requires proficiency with data entry and readiness to assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualificações

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certifications: Completion of a Phlebotomy course preferred.
• Team Player: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented position.
• Physical Requirements: Repetitive motion, standing, lifting, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, turning and bending.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in specimen handling and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture, capillary sticks, urinalysis, glucose tolerances, and first aid.
• Register patients and verify accurate patient identification and proper specimen labeling.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and complete assignments on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy area; notify physicians of critical lab results.
• Be prepared to assist with additional duties as needed by supervisor.
