Job summary

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize blood draw requests across TRAUMAS, STATS, ASAP, TIMED, and routine draws.
• Operate the hospital tube system to receive specimens and route them for collection.
• Verify patient identification and specimen type for outpatient samples.
• Use the Hospital Information System to order, cancel, add tests, and retrieve patient information.
• Greet visitors and manage the reception area, telecommunication devices, and mail distribution.
• Train new employees and assist supervisor with daily work assignments and problem-solving.
