Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Columbus, GA is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for a 3-month assignment, with potential to become permanent. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining accurate data, and complying with OSHA/DEP regulations. Minimum qualifications: valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed.
