Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Columbus, GA. The role includes performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining proper documentation with attention to turnaround times.

Requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience and state certification, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Schedule is M-F 8:30a-5:30p, duration 3 months with potential for permanent hire, and benefits are available. May float to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and transport specimens following protocol and temperature requirements.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
