Job summary

Related Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to partner with the Resident Manager, perform upkeep, respond to resident requests, and inspect systems to prevent problems. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs in residential properties in the West Palm Beach area.

The position requires strong hands-on maintenance skills, experience with building systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or building operations, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair skills.
• Comfort using digital work order systems or apps to track and close tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Resident Manager to prepare site for inspections.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold the pristine condition of the property.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests with urgency and efficiency.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with the property management team to maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner and keep systems in good working order.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frames.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues promptly.
• Participate in routine preventative maintenance with supervision.
