Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic for the Atlanta, GA area. This outdoor, mobile-truck role requires 5+ years of trailer repair experience, strong diagnostics, and customer-facing service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday by DAYS with overtime after 40 hours; starting pay is $25–$35 per hour and bi-weekly pay, with benefits including paid holidays and a 401(k) after 1 year. We promote from within and place emphasis on safety, reliability, and delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trailer mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing semi-trailer systems.
• Able to operate a mobile service truck.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts (ABS, frame, body, doors, tires, electrical).
• Independently motivated professional delivering top-notch service.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Operate the mobile Service Truck safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $25-$35/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
• Monday-Friday - DAYS!
