Job summary

Greater Seacoast Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Wakefield practice in Sanbornville, NH. You will greet patients, take vital signs, assist providers, and help coordinate care in a busy primary care setting.

You bring an accredited MA program, BLS, and 2+ years of ambulatory experience. You’ll work with a supportive team, grow professionally, and contribute to compassionate patient care in the Wakefield community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Two or more years of ambulatory or primary care clinical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical skills and confidence within the Medical Assistant scope.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and adapt as needs change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, and chaperone visits.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Support providers during procedures and assist with immunizations.
• Coordinate medication refills, lab orders, and patient follow-ups.
• Work closely with providers, nurses, and other care team members.
• Help connect patients with health and social services when needed.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality and provide a welcoming experience.
• Anticipate needs to keep the day moving smoothly.
