MaineGeneral Health in Waterville, ME is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. We welcome MAs by certification or work experience who will help our medical staff deliver compassionate, efficient care while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

As an MA, you will room patients, record vital signs, assist with procedures, and support clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient visits. This role emphasizes teamwork and proactive patient care.

Formación

• Experience as a Medical Assistant or certified MA preferred.
• Certification from an accredited MA program or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and obtain vital signs; reconcile medical records and update preventative care records.
• Assist with basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as required.
• Document observed changes in patient condition to medical staff for assessment.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies; reorder, stock and troubleshoot.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of examination and procedural areas.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
