Humana Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Covington, VA is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for an on-site outpatient clinic.

You will report to the Center Administrator and perform clinical duties including discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication administration and phlebotomy. This patient-facing role requires completion of an MA program with certification, a high school diploma, CPR certification, and TB screening.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA program and MA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening as part of Humana program.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Medication/vaccine administration.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Sterilize/clean equipment and maintain exam rooms.
• Document information in the EMR.
