Job summary

Humana Inc. is hiring for an onsite Medical Assistant at the Tidewater clinic to support clinical teams and deliver high-quality patient care. You will report to the Center Administrator and perform a range of procedures in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires MA training and CPR certification, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred and TB screening participation. Onsite, full-time with competitive benefits and a base pay range.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an MA school/training program and certification/registration with 3+ years of experience and provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines following protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens.
• Prepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipment.
• Document patient information in the EMR system.
