Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist in daily fresh meat cutting of beef, pork, and grind at our Marquette, MI location. You will help write raw meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive customer and team interactions while following safety and sanitation procedures.

Prior experience with meat presentation, packaging, and CAO systems is preferred. The role requires a valid hand jack/hilo license and familiarity with inventory control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
