Job summary

Meijer in Marquette, MI is seeking a Meat Cutter teammate to assist in daily fresh beef, pork, and grind operations, following the production schedule.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize and check in deliveries, and maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing (<140 chars).
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures (<140 chars).
• Experience in product presentation and packaging (<140 chars).
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications (<140 chars).
• Current handjack/hilo license (<140 chars).
• Experience with inventory control procedures (<140 chars).

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
