Job summary

Meijer is hiring for a meat department role in Indiana. You will assist in writing fresh meat orders and organizing deliveries, while ensuring accurate inventory and presentation. Collaboration with customers and team members is essential as you follow safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
