Job summary

Banyan Living in the greater Cleveland area seeks an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. You will perform preventive maintenance across property systems, respond to resident requests, and help ensure safe, comfortable living environments for our residents.

With at least 1 year in maintenance, strong plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge, and a valid driver's license, you will work with the property management team, document activities, manage supplies, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
