Job summary

A well-established Pacific Northwest civil litigation law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its medical malpractice and general liability practice. The position may be based out of either the firm's Seattle or Tacoma office.

It requires an active Washington State Bar license and a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with medical malpractice or general liability experience as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar license required.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in medical malpractice, professional liability, healthcare, or general liability is a strong plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle and assist with complex civil litigation matters.
• Represent clients in medical malpractice and general liability cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
• Take on increasing responsibility as experience and performance warrant.
