Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active WA State Bar membership is required.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience required.
• Experience in medical malpractice or insurance defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend healthcare providers in complex medical malpractice matters.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
• Collaborate with medical experts and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain direct client contact and provide strategic guidance.
• Work with senior trial attorneys on high-stakes matters.
