Mosaic Health, LLC. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Laboratory Phlebotomist for a full-time role. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with duties including venipuncture, specimen labeling, and ensuring specimen integrity.

You will work under supervision to support clinical teams and patient care pathways. The role requires phlebotomy certification or MA certification, plus 4+ years in a lab setting, and knowledge of lab tests and labeling protocols.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or MA certification or certificate from a phlebotomy program.
• 4+ years of experience in Lab.
• Understand labeling/ID protocol and knowledge of common lab tests and vacutainers.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and other approved specimen collection procedures for routine and moderately complex draws.
• Review test orders, patient identifiers, collection timing, specimen containers, and handling requirements before collection.
• Respond to routine patient concerns, difficult draw situations, and collection workflow issues within established procedures.
• Label, store, and route specimens to maintain chain of custody, temperature requirements, and specimen integrity.
• Document collection activity, specimen issues, patient refusals, and unsuccessful attempts in applicable systems.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies, collection areas, and equipment in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate specimen collection issues, delays, or patient needs to laboratory, clinical, and care team partners.
