Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Jacksonville AL. This full-time role supports patient service centers or client offices and follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for tests, enter data accurately, handle billing as needed, and travel to additional sites when required. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as phlebotomist.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
