Aufgaben

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and routine specimen draws.
• Review test orders, patient identifiers, and handling requirements.
• Label, store, and route specimens to maintain chain of custody and temperature.
• Document collection activity and any issues in applicable systems.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment per infection control standards.
• Communicate specimen issues to laboratory and care teams.
