Bareburger in New York, NY is hiring an experienced Cook to support our busy kitchen and deliver delicious burgers. You will train on every station in the kitchen and help prepare meals during dining hours with a focus on quality and consistency.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of cooking experience, can follow standardized recipes, read checks, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. We offer a starting wage of $17 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Cook preferred.
• Able to read checks and follow standardized recipes.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• You will be training on every station in the Kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours.
• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
