Bareburger is hiring a Cook to join our busy Avon, CT kitchen. You will train across all kitchen stations, measure and assemble ingredients, and work with the Kitchen Manager to prepare meals during dining hours.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years cooking experience, strong knowledge of food handling, and can read recipes and work well in a fast-paced team. We offer competitive wages and benefits in a busy, quality-focused restaurant.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Cook preferred.
• Able to read checks and follow standardized recipes.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.

Responsabilités

• You will be training on every station in the Kitchen.
• Responsibilities of a BOH Member include:
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
