Bareburger Group LLC is hiring a Grill Cook to join our busy kitchen in New York. You will be trained across every kitchen station and work closely with the Kitchen Manager and fellow cooks to prepare delicious burgers for our guests.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a cook, can read recipes, follows food safety guidelines, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive wage and strong team culture in a dynamic restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Cook.
• Able to read checks and follow standardized recipes.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Train on every station in the Kitchen.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours.
• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
