Job summary

Mac Haik Ford in Houston is seeking an Internet Sales professional to generate sales appointments from online inquiries and lead responses, guiding customers through the purchase process for new or pre-owned vehicles.

The role requires courteous, accurate communication, accurate CRM data entry, and active support of marketing promotions, with daily appointment goals to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRM and DMS experience preferred.
• Proficiency with operating in a web based, networked environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Increase the sales traffic of the Internet Department by responding to emails, making outbound sales calls and generating appointments.
• Respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
• Develop a flexible sales process to draw customers into the store for vehicle demonstrations and close the transaction.
• Support the dealership's marketing initiatives through internet promotions.
• Enter customer inquiry data into the CRM promptly and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory and status of internet store listings.
• Record and confirm all appointments for sale and delivery of vehicles.
• Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Uphold ethical business practices and the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.

Internet Sales

The Internet Sales position generates sales appointments with customers that contact the dealership via the internet to purchase new and/or pre-owned vehicles. The Internet Sales position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and for using lead management tools to deliver sales results.

Skills / Qualities Preferred Include:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Increase the sales traffic of the Internet Department by responding to emails, making outbound sales calls such as (not limited to) internet lead responses, unsold internet showroom traffic and follow up calls which produce specific appointments for internet sales and the sales team.
• Respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
• Understands the needs of the Internet customer, developing a flexible sales process, to draw them into the store for vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction.
• Supports the marketing initiatives of the dealership through internet promotions.
• Checks systems frequently and responds to inquiries immediately; promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM.
• Effectively utilize lead management tools to maintain repeat and referral business.
• Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity in setting and confirming a volume of daily appointments, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
• Conduct business in a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, such as email, telephone, in-person appointments, and others.
• Develop and convey a high level of automotive product knowledge.
• Ensures that Internet store inventory, pictures, and status are updated on a daily basis.
• Develop and enforce procedures to record and confirm all appointments for the sale and delivery of vehicles.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with operating in a web base, networked, internet environment.
• CRM and DMS experience preferred
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
