Job summary

II Stanley is seeking a Molding Set-Up Technician in Battle Creek, Michigan. The role supports production by setting up injection molding machines, maintaining molds, and participating in continuous improvement.

The position involves working with robotics, executing maintenance, reading mechanical drawings, and ensuring safe, efficient output. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in molding, knowledge of multiple molding machines, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience as a molding technician.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and setups.
• Familiarity with three- and six-axis robotic programming.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, modifies, and changes injection molds and tooling with limited downtime.
• Set up plastic injection molding machines.
• Understands three- and six-axis robotic programming; adjust as required.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement.
• Provide support to manufacturing sections.
• Adjust machine pressures, temperatures, speeds, and cycle times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
