Job summary

The Learning Experience Corp. in Columbia, SC is hiring a Lead Teacher for the Infant Classroom (6 weeks to 18 months). This full-time role requires nurturing care, engaging activities, and close collaboration with families to support early development.

You will create safe, developmentally appropriate experiences, document milestones, and lead a caring team during 9:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts, with hourly pay of $16–$17 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with infants (6 weeks–16 months), preferably in a lead teaching role.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Availability to work within 9:00 AM–6:00 PM hours.
• Early Childhood Education coursework or related education preferred.
• Must obtain the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation.
• Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification.
• A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
