Job summary

The Learning Experience in Columbia, SC is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Infant through Preschool classrooms. You will support Lead Teachers to create a safe, engaging environment where children learn, explore, and develop confidence.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, building relationships with children and families, and observing developmental milestones. The role requires full-time availability Monday–Friday, with pay starting at $15–$16 per hour based on experience.

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside Lead Teachers to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and build confidence. • Availability to work M-F 9:00 AM–6:00 PM required
• Early Childhood Education coursework or related education is a plus
• Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation
• Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification
