Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Conover, NC is seeking experienced Specialized Care Assistants to support clients with higher care needs in their homes. This role requires dependable, compassionate caregivers with consistent availability and hands-on personal care experience.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and following individualized Care Plans while reporting changes to the office. Weekend and overnight shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on caregiving experience with higher-need clients.
• Ability to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes.
• Comfort with dementia, hospice or mobility-related care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on personal care and ADL support.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Mobility and transfers within the caregiver's scope; safety first.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders and safety supervision.
• Follow Care Plans and report changes to the office.
• Provide companionship and maintain client well-being at home.
