Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Conover is seeking experienced Specialized Care Assistants to support clients with complex needs in their own homes around Newton and surrounding areas.

This role emphasizes hands-on personal care, ADLs, and dementia/memory-care support, with mobility assistance and transfers within the caregiver's scope. Flexible shifts include early, late, overnight, weekends, and PRN options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on caregiving experience
• Comfortable providing one-on-one in-home care
• Experience with dementia/alzheimer's care or related conditions
• Experience with mobility assistance and ADLs

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting support
• Mobility and walking assistance
• Transfers within scope of practice
• Dementia and memory-care support
• Support for clients with chronic conditions or increased needs
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Transportation and errands when authorized
• Follow care plans and report changes to the office
